Here are my To-Do action items this week.
I will be adding to it.

I'm still involved (though remotely) with my Local Indivisible Group and I follow Celeste of It's Time To Fight, who's worked for Congress for 16 years, and Emily Ellsworth, who's worked for Congress for 6 years.

CALL

This week's issues:

ICE || Russia || Free Press ||  Bannon - Remove from NSC! || Travel Ban || Cabinet || Demand Town Halls || ACA || Voter Fraud lies || Trump's Taxes || Fiduciary Rule  || NoDAPL ||

SENATORS

Ask your senators to speak out / act ...

Russia

• Sanctions - Support The Russia Review Act (co-sponsored by Sen. McCain)
      and any other bill to ensure Congress has oversight on changes to Russian sanctions
• Election Interference - Support any bills to investigate Russian interference in our election
• Michael Flynn - Speak out about Michael Flynn's (potentially treasonous) discussions
  with Russia about the sanctions. Strike that; reverse it. He resigned. Can still mention though.

Cabinet

• Mulvaney - Vote NO (McCain has already said he will vote no)
• Ross - Vote NO (has ties to Russia)
• Puzder - Vote NO Strike that, he's withdrawn his nomination, as too many were opposed.

Town Halls

• Schedule one! - Your constituents want to talk to you! Schedule a Town Hall during the recess.

ICE

• Increased raids, families torn apart. Even DACAs are now being held. What will you do about this?

Bannon on the National Security Council

• Legislation - Support S. 291 and any other bills that would prevent or restrict Steve Bannon from sitting on the National Security Council -- it is not supposed to be a place for partisan politics.

Travel Ban

• Speak Out - Speak out against the travel ban & its execution. Thank them if they have.
• Legislation - Support any bills that would overturn, restrict, or otherwise fix the EO.

Voter Fraud

• Baseless Claims - Speak out against baseless claims that millions voted illegally in the elections. It's baseless and further undermining the American people's confidence in their government in the White House's ability to govern based on reality. 

Trump's Taxes

• Release! Speak out about the importance for Trump to release his tax returns, if he wants to regain the trust of the American people.

Fiduciary Rule

• Hold Wall Street to High Standards - Speak out against Trump's EO that calls for a rollback of the Fiduciary Rule, which helps ensure that financial advisers don't give bad advice.

ACA Repeal

• Please keep the coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. High-risk pools are inadequate and severely penalize

NoDAPL / Protests

• What are you going to do to protect the tribes whose lands are being crossed by pipelines?
• Call for an investigation of Civil Rights violations of protesters, and for the end of FBI surveillance of non-violent protesters.

Election Assistance Commission Termination

• Oppose - Oppose HR 634 -- Election Assistance Commission Termination Act. While it needs to be fixed, this is the commission that helps solve cybersecurity issues in our election.

Russia
